The concession stand represents a critical source of funding for the Kiwanis Baseball Program.  Simply put, the program cannot survive without a thriving concession operation.

Obviously, it is very important that people buy items at concession stand to provide funds for the program.  However, the program’s success is also dependent upon parents agreeing to work in the concession stand during the season.  Our policy is that the home team, as so listed on the schedule, provides concession workers for the game. 

Unlike other area leagues, parent concession workers are not expected to set up the stand or prepare food.  Kiwanis Club volunteers do that.  Parent concession workers help work at the window, taking and filling orders, as well as handling money, including making change.  If each parent agrees to help out, nobody will have to perform the function more than once or twice in an entire season.  Please note that minors may not be used as substitutes for parents or other adults in the concession stand. Minors are not permitted in the concession stand at any time.
